Understanding the resilience of the built environment against climate change and other external hazards – and how long-term sustainability-driven decision making can assist towards our transition to a net-zero carbon economy – is fundamental towards the safe and efficient functioning of society.

Our unique and accredited Infrastructure Engineering with Industrial Practise MSc provides you with specialist knowledge that can allow you to target niche positions in industry in the areas of infrastructure planning, delivery, operation and asset management. You’ll be taught by academics with a track record in infrastructure issues, together with professionals from industry.

You will have the opportunity to attend keynote talks from distinguished speakers and participate in an organisation visit related to the topics you’re studying.

You'll also have the opportunity to undertake a postgraduate placement year, allowing you to gain crucial workplace experience. We’ll support you in finding a placement with a company most suited to your career goals.
