I enjoyed the course and practising so much, I just knew I didn’t want that to end after I qualified... I am now an Advanced CBT Therapist and I love the diversity of my role.

One of the great things about GSA is the fact that it's connected to the Â鶹ÊÓƵ. This meant that not only did I feel a part of the small community that is the Guildford School of Acting, but I also felt like I was a part of the larger Â鶹ÊÓƵ community, with access to all the University has to offer.

I joined Surrey’s boat club with the initial intention of getting fit and exploring a new sport – not realising that it would lead me to become part of a tight-knit family, creating wonderful memories and forming lifelong friendships.

With a focus on practical learning, expert teaching staff and a supportive environment, this course offers an ideal platform to become a skilled and compassionate healthcare educator.

Each module brings a new way of thinking about the learning environment and highlights the need for cooperation, co-ownership and energy in the classroom for active learning to take place.

Surrey helped me in two key ways – the breadth of topics on the course that gave me exposure to lots of different aspects of designing, building and operating spacecraft, and the top-quality teaching provided by the faculty.

Studying at Surrey opened my eyes to various areas of the water and environmental profession. There are so many things that can be discovered and developed in this multidisciplinary field, and the outcomes are so meaningful as they benefit the environment and public health.

I am the Co-owner and Executive Producer at Firefly Creations and we specialise in the design of attractions for theme parks, resorts and other destinations. It has always been a goal of mine to work in this industry and the course at Surrey gave me a great grounding both technically and commercially.

At Surrey, I opened myself up to new opportunities and experiences which translated into the job I have today.
