Engineering has a great range of facilities all over the campus, from the Engineering Design Centre to the Workshops. This allows us to compete in extracurricular competitions, like the ones I take part in with Peryton Space.

Space, stars, and the underlying science behind them has always been fascinating to me.  I have always had a desire to tinker and build projects. Combining these two passions fitted perfectly into my degree.

My summer internship at Flock Mobility has given me a number of opportunities such as creating software for sustainable mobility and getting an insight into the work culture of a start-up.

I enjoyed my four-week elective placement in Ghana – I always wanted to do my elective internationally to see a different healthcare system.

I always wanted to work at Great Ormond Street Hospital as a qualified nurse – and now I will! It’s my dream job.

I contacted several potential supervisors from various universities but was instantly seduced by the accessibility and generosity of spirit of staff from the School of Literature and Languages at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ .
